STAYING CONNECTED
Visitors to Aba House form lasting friendships and stay connected to the Ghanaians. Many have a favorite child that they help by paying school fees or sending cloths or useful gifts. Others work with a favorite artisan to help them sell their crafts in other countries. The connections are so varied that we have asked people to let us know how they have chosen to stay connected and we are sharing some of them with you.
Laurel True, who conducted our mural arts workshops, got people to buy professional soccer shirts for the Nungua kids soccer team and Barbara Allen, our artist in residence for the ceramic furniture workshops, got her students to donate books to a library.
